Hello, all diligent Royal Prayer Guards and those who join us!! Thank you as we continue to pray for those in need!

Prayer targets:

Family, Relatives, and Friends ( Section A)

1 Timothy 5:8
"If any one does not provide for his relatives, and especially for his own family, he has disowned the faith and is worse than an unbeliever." RSV

Suggestions:

(1)
Take greater strategic steps of faith toward family members, relatives and friends who do not know Jesus as their Lord and Savior. Give them the invitation.

(2) It is essential to take steps of action otherwise there will be no reaping.

Ecclesiastes 11:4
"He who observes the wind will not sow, And he who regards the clouds will not reap." NKJV

Consider the following simple steps. (Highlighted text added)

First step:
Believe God for good ground.

Matthew 13:23
"But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." NKJV

Step two: Believe God for more laborers.

Luke 10:22
"And he said to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." RSV

Third step:  Lead the lost to repentance by reflecting God's kindness.

Romans 2:4
"Do you not know that God's kindness is meant to lead you to repentance?" RSV

Therefore we have:

(1) Good ground!

(2) More laborers!

(3) Reflect God's kindness!

Keep in mind!

(1) Jesus is paying attention to people.

(2) Jesus demonstrates compassion.

Matthew 9:35-38
"Then Jesus went about all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues, preaching the gospel of the kingdom, and healing every sickness and every disease among the people. But when He saw the multitudes, He was moved with compassion for them, because they were weary and scattered, like sheep having no shepherd. Then He said to His disciples, "The harvest truly is plentiful, but the laborers are few. Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest." NKJV

 Mark 1:17
"And Jesus said to them, Come after Me and be My disciples, and I will make you to become fishers of men." AMP

Family, Relatives and Friends ( Section B)

(1) It is essential to visit the previous prayer focuses to see how things are going.

Acts 15:36
"And after some days Paul said to Barnabas, "Come, let us return and visit the brethren in every city where we proclaimed the word of the Lord, and see how they are." RSV

(2) Family members, relatives, and friends continually need our fervent prayers as we pray for other assigned targets.

(3) If we desire the harvest of those we are praying for it will take prayer and patience.  Praying is a long process; therefore let us not lose heart.

Luke 18:1
"And he told them a parable, to the effect that they ought always to pray and not lose heart." RSV

Galatians 6:9
"And let us not grow weary in well-doing, for in due season we shall reap, if we do not lose heart." RSV

(4) Let us remember who we are. We are Royal Prayer Guards just like Jesus was while on earth.

2 Peter 1:12-13
"Therefore I intend always to remind you of these things, though you know them and are established in the truth that you have. I think it right, as long as I am in this body, to arouse you by way of reminder" RSV

(5) One hindrance to our success as Royal Prayer Guards is being too busy with the cares of this life.  If we do not prioritize life activities our prayer time will be tangled up and ineffective. More about prioritizing

Mark 4:19
"but the cares of the world, and the delight in riches, and the desire for other things, enter in and choke the word, and it proves unfruitful." RSV

(6) Let us make a decision today to be free and effective.

(7) Realize also that we cannot judge our prayers by appearance.

(8) We are to believe no matter what we see or what people say.  Believe based on what God’s word says not by the appearance of things.

John 7:24
"Do not judge by appearances, but judge with right judgment." RSV

Suggested prayer:

(1) Pray for good ground.

(2)
When people hear the word their heart needs to be good ground otherwise there will be no fruit.

Matthew 13:23
"But he who received seed on the good ground is he who hears the word and understands it, who indeed bears fruit and produces: some a hundredfold, some sixty, some thirty." NKJV

(1)
Pray for more laborers to go forth.

(2)
Believe God for laborers to go forth to the people we cannot reach.

Luke 10:2
"And he said to them, "The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; pray therefore the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." RSV
